Not to change the subject, but since you are in my area, I got a question for you. The calls you get concerning loss of locals, do those customers have a type 1 dish? The reason I'm asking is, cause I think my problem may be dish warp. It's nice and cool this morning and guess what? I'm getting my locals just fine, and on transponder 22. As the day heats up, I bet they will go away.

That is a good question! But I'm not trying to steal the thread, I'm just asking Redfishhunter because I know he lives in this area, and amazingly, my stuff is working on locals. He gets a lot of calls concerning this from this area. I thought my LNB was bad, but now I'm thinking it could be dish warp as it happens quit often and it does get real warm here. But then, that could be your problem as well.

I'm a little confused here, geography wise. You live in Milton, FL and Redfishhunter lives in Eastern KY. How is that "in your area?" It seems to me that Kentucky is a ways north of Florida.

Now back to the "real" thread.....

On a previous post in another thread he mentioned The Milton and Pace office of a firm he is apparently associated with that does Dish stuff. So that is why I'm asking him.

E* uses a sliding scale depending upon how many activations you have per quarter, but I believe it's maxed at $1.25/active account per month and goes down if you have less activations. And, you only get residuals for 5 years.

Ok, I am back.
The cause is low signal because of the area...The Dish may of warp? specially type 1. But the signal on 50 is on the fringe...
Is your dish on a wooden pole? If so look no more...when the sun hits it it tends to dry and shrink....causing it to dry. :)
