Is there an option to have it displayed? I didn't think that DirecTV DVRs could display Caller ID. Anyway, regardless of the display, you have to have it enabled by the phone company.

You're correct, DirecTiVos do not have Caller ID capability.

One of my standard receivers had caller ID, but neither of my DTIVOs has caller ID......There are ways to place caller id on a Tivo, but it will void your warranty.

Then the CSR was wrong or was mistaken with the model number. Vast majority of regular receivers have caller id built in but none of the DirecTivo models do. There are some hacks you can employ on some models, but it's not built in.

The RCA Ultimatetv units have on-screen caller ID. Perhaps the CSR thought that was what you meant.
