BBC World channel coming?

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere here, although it's about a week old. The BBC is reported to be talking to cable (no DBS?) companies about adding BBC World as a separate channel.

"The BBC is working with partner Discovery Networks, partially owned by Cox, to get cable distribution to complement BBC America."

I would hope so -- having seen BBC World itself, it is certainly worth airing separately in the US.

It airs in Canada, alongside BBC Canada (and BBC Kids for that matter).
