I am getting a 2nd Dish installed this weekend. Can I get Picture in Picture by getting a 2nd dish with the switch? I have a two turner TV now.

No... you would need two separate recievers to arrange something like that. The new dish reciever slated to come out (the 721) has 2 tuners, so stay tuned here... that may be the box for you.

Absolutely not, Dish will more than likely screw that up and you'll end up with picture from one, and the sound from the other.

As stated aboove your receiver contrls that capability. The second dish merely gives you access to programming at 61.5 or 148.
