For the past 6-12 days [not certain, been out of town], my 921 has been turning itself on several times each day [with no timers set!].

All local OTA channels were deleted. Re-scanned. Now KQED [dig. ch. 30] is OK, but a cursory scan gave me the impression that several OTA channels were low picture quality, but not certain, since I never watch most commercial OTA channels.

1 timer seemed to work [red record light on], but did not shut off at designated time. Manual shut-off resulted in no recording, and erratic, colored, wavy/zig-zag lines scrolling accross black screen. Required reboot to correct.

Same zig-zag lines next time turned on. Another reboot. 1 recorded movie randomly deleted.

Next time, all basic functions seemed to function, but no time for thorough analysis.

Will check for other problems this weekend, when time allows. I've never had any problems with previous firmware upgrades.

Not nearly enough specific information to be considered a bug report. Moving to 921 support forum.

Mark, something is going on with the, "turning its self on." Every night, I turn the 921 off. In the morning the green light is on and there is a signal to the monitor. At first I thought my wife was the source but that proved negative. The 921 is powering on without any help from anyone. The reboot has no effect. I don't have any auto tunes set but I do have timers for DVR that fire for programming when I'm away. Any thoughts?

Other than change your remote address to something different, I don't really have any idea. I've never had that problem with mine (in betas or release versions).
