I know that this issue has been addressed (thread: BUG REPORT: Audio delay), but I can't find any New information on this.
I just got my 921 last week. I am on the 188 release. I noticed that when the Pause button is pressed and then play is pressed there is about a 2 second delay in the audio. I have 2 508 receivers and haven't seen this before. I am not using optical output for audio.
Anyone know about this??
Thanks,

Yes, this is currently an issue, and is well known by the programmers.
I noticed on some occasions that there is no audio delay, however, on those occasions, the audio is way out of synch with the video for those couple of seconds. I'd rather have the delay!

I've noticed that it depends upon how long you have paused the receiver. If you pause it, then immediately unpause, I've noticed virtually no delay. If you leave it for a minute or so, then unpause, the delay is more evident.

Is this problem going to be fixed in 189??

If you press the skip back button just before resuming play, everything works as it should.

Thanks,
The skip back and skip forward seem to work normally. HD seems to have the longest delay in audio.

The delay is less if you press "pause" to restart as opposed to pressing "play".
Also as above, if you press the skip back & then play it picks up normally
