Dish 301 losing signal

I have a dish 301 with 204 software.The last two days I am frequently losing my signal.The signal comes back really fast but can go out like 3or 4 times in a row.I also have a 510 on the same channel right now (ESPN2) and when the 301 loses signal the 510 doesn't.Is my reciever going bad?I have switched the coax from the 510 to the 301 and vice versa with no luck.I've also changed the ports on the switch.

It is either the receiver or a connection/wire between the receiver and the dish. There is a possibility of it being the software as this has caused issues before. So are you saying that you took the 510 to the room where the 301 is at and hooked it up there and took the 301 to the room where the 510 was at and hooked it up there swapping them to see if the same thing has happened and this did not solve the issue? If that did not solve the issue then its the receiver or software.

Last night I changed the 510 and 301 places.And the 301 worked fine.So today I get home from work and switched them back started watching Sportscenter and I started losing signal.And the attention acquiring satellite come up like 10 times in 15 minutes.The 510 in the bedroom stayed on.So I pulled the cable from the both recievers under the house and switched them places.It didn't help for the ESPN but the locals seem to be fine.Also if I switch to espn then back to locals after a few secondsI'll lose signal for a split second.Thanks
