Dish local HD and Direct Local HD

How come Direct TV has the locals in HD and all you can get on dish is the CBS?? Whats up with that and will it ever change??

You're a little ahead of yourself, yukon10. DirecTV does not have the locals in HD. They have the same CBS-HD that Dish has, either WCBS New York or KCBS Los Angeles. They recently added WNBC and KNBC respectively. Dish is negotiating the same deal. DirecTV was going to add Fox the same way, but Dish has obtained a court order to keep them from doing it, for now. Keep in mind that there are rules about your ability to receive any of these stations on both services and they are identical. You must meet the qualifications.

Bobby Fox HD is on DirectTV now.. have a friend that got it added yesterday... Lots of Direct people are getting it??
