Does Dish plan to let us extend the timer record beyond 29 minutes from the initial setup screen?
I know you can do this by editing a timer you've set up. You can also extend the recorded time beyond 29 minutes when you record live programs. So why the limit when setting up a future event from the guide? I don't get it. What's the deal with 29 minutes. What do they care?
It's pretty frustrating to watch a sporting event all the way to the end only to have it stop just before the end. You can't predict when many will end.
This was a problem for a while with the 721 but was fixed. Why can't it be fixed on the 921. How much code do they share, I wonder.
