hi, i have a 18x20 3 lnb dish with built in multiswitch, i've connected a tivo With 2 inputs and a HDTV box with 1 input all connected to the multiswitch built into the LNB, now 4 months later the tivo says no signal on sat 2, so i unplug sat 1 and sat 2 will be fine, if i unplug the sat wire to my hd box sat 1 and 2 on the tivo is fine connect it back and only sat 2 on the tivo drops and raises then no signal and so on, sound like a bad multiswitch?
by the way, with all 3 sat inputs plugged in, i only get even transponders on sat 2, sat 1 is fine, and the hd box is fine

Search these forums or call Directv for help with this software.
:)
Most likely a bad LNB. I was thinking that it might be the D software download that is causing this until you mentioned that unplugging your 2nd box, the HD, causes all the signals to return to normal on Sat 1 and 2. I've come across the same exact issue with faulty Triple Sat LNBs before.

ok update, thanks for the tip of the software, i forced a call today went from the D software to E, and guess what? problem solved.
all boxes are hooked and working
it is weird how unplugging the other box made all transponders work on the tivo unit.
