So what if there are 210 channels? Quality cable is still hard to find
An interesting little confluence took place at my house recently. I got more TV channels right when I was disliking the ones I already had.
Now, I could probably trace this back to some kind of -- how shall we put this? -- professional malaise, and it certainly has roots in a kind of overwhelmed sense of jadedness (surprise!). But it went beyond that. I felt let down by certain cable channels. See, I want cable channels to succeed so that they put on quality programming and my life gets a whole lot easier than the cakewalk it already is. Call me greedy.
