Below is a quote from another forum. Does anyone know if this EPG upgrade is planned for the 921?

Thanks

I am a Dish network customer, I have an 811. I too am waiting for 921 to get cheaper. However, my 811 downloaded a software upgrade about a week ago in which I now get EPG for all my OTA channels. I couldn't be happier unless the 921 were about $600 dollars cheaper and I could get a HDTV in my room.

Yes it is. If all goes well, we should have it before Christmas.

Mark, I'm confused. Did the recent 811 software update allow the OTA EPG to actually be populated. This was mentioned as it may apply to the 921 in the near future. Just to make clear, will the OTA EPG on the 921 become populated with L189 or L190?

Not in L189, at least as of now. I've been saying that for some time.

I have an 811 as well as a 921. Some people got OTA EPG with the newest firmware; some did not. I did not, but may delete and reinstall my OTA channels this weekend to see if that will get me the EPG. The ATSC tuner in my TV will get OTA EPG if I leave an antenna connected to it, so the information is out there somewhere.
