Dish PVR 508 - Can HD be upgraded ?

I have a Dish PVR-508 "Echostar" Model DP508
Software Version P223DCKD-N
Bootstrap Version - 23ABDCKD

Can this unit be upgraded with a bigger hard drive for more recording time ?
If so would Ghost be able to do this ?

The short answer is no.

The long answer is a couple of people have done it but it is not easy. You apparently have to get a certain brand/model of drive and then hack it. This would of course void all warranties.
