recording music channels

i would just like some input on this matter. is it legal and ethical to record a sirius music channel onto my mp3 player by its line in at night listen to it at the gym or at work and then erase it and start over again.thks for any help

As long as you are not sharing the mp3's with others, I can't see anything wrong with it.

Time-shifting is legal, unless and until Congress passes the "Induce" legislation. It's also ethical, IMHO.

Hey, You are making mp3s from a line out, not even digital to digital, why worry, and even more, you are listening to it privately or at least you are not getting any money to play it i a public place.
