Just got a pair of D10s so I could get my locals. They seem to be refurbished units? Can't seem to get my Sony universal remote to control them. Any idea what the code is for these? Thanks.

D-10's are too new to be refurbished but they are also so new that your Sony remote probably does not have codes for them :) :)

Try reading the manual. It will tell you, the codes are listed in the menu of the receiver. It is very simple to program and the remote is quite user friendly, especially for a Sony TV.

The code for most Sony TVs is '10000' .

Thanks everyone. Looks like the codes are in the menu on the D10, not in the manual. I would have found that if I read the manual, I just scanned it for codes the first time. Thanks again.

Now if they would only add Dolby 5.1 and additional jacks for DVD and PS/2 equipment, I'd be happy.

UEI the maker of the D10 remote has upgrade codes for their other universal remotes like the OFA urc-8910, 9910, or HT-PRO. These codes can be loaded over the phone, the codes are address #1- SAT 1377, #2-1378, #3-1379,and #4-1380.
