Tips or tricks for a quicker intallation?

As I described in another post I had an install where the guy installed a round dish instead of the oval. They are saying Monday is the soonest they can fix this (Directv). Any ideas as to how I could get them out today or tomorrow instead? Seems like it is their mistake and they should fix it right now?

Frequently, asking to speak to people higher up the food chain, expressing your displeasure without being a jerk and even going so far as to say you're going to cancel after all (since it was their mistake) is successful. Unfortunately, though, there are no guarantees.

This is a big mistake and I would call Customer services...The independent dealer knew what he was doing.
He was out of Dish and wanted to get you in the box anyway.

I already called Directv and they are sending someone out Monday to fix it. I just thought they should get someone out today.

You are right. There is no excuses for such a mistake. Hope you get good results.
