re: changing channels with ati card

wondering if it is possible that lets say the signal is split...that i can watch a different
show on tv than on my computer...how do i program
my ati card to change satellite channels or is it
not possible...i would have to use the remote control to do that.

It's not possible. You get one channel per receiver, and you must use the buttons on the receiver or the receiver's remote to change that channel.
