My 301-10's both of them have started this all over again, I thought that software version P 229 was the cure, but in the last several weeks this has been happening at least once a day.
This is also about the time I installed a 121 Superdish, all signal strengths are high, just wondering if there is any connection between the freezing and superdish,

My 311 was doing this for a couple of weeks in the morning. It has been ok for a week and a half now. Any vehicles with radar detectors around your area? I discovered a few around my place, and when they are in the area and turned on, the signal goes whacky.

I have had this happen on some of my receivers as well for at least the past few weeks. They reboot on their own then download the EPG an x amount of times per day. How annoying. Same thing that happened on the pre-P229 receivers.

I never had this problem pre P229 as most did, and never noticed it with P229 until a few weeks ago, now it seems to be happening a lot more often, always at a critical point in the tv program, never during a commercial.

I noticed - my 301.010 (with latest software on it - p229 i think.. isn't it) ..sometimes Freezes.. totally freezes.. and then Reboots.. when sometimes i am on guide.. and say by accident press Guide again.. and say it goes to "All Subs".. and then i want to put it to ..say.. "All Channels" again.. but can't.. cuz at this point - it would often freeze..and in few seconds.. goes to Reboot.. on it's own...

This doesn't happen all the time.. in a simular scenario.. but often enough to notice and make "it's a bug" conclusion... ;)

Mine is on going on one receiver, there is a show my wife likes to watch that comes on at 11:30 pm , and almost every night while taping the show it would do the freze reboot thing, so now I tape it on the other receiver that does not seem to have that problem, at least not at 11:30 pm

I had a 301 do this about a few weeks ago and I had to get it replaced because it finally would not be able to do a check switch successfully. It was a refurb I got as a replacement not that long ago. It was rebooting a lot as you guys have described before that happened.
