Help Please!!! I live in central america and use dish network. I can not tell dish network that i live here though, or they will turn me off. I have a billing address in the states and my account is activated through there. My problem is I used to receive national networks, but some new law passed and now b/c local channels are available in my area I am now required to get the local networks. As you know the local networks are on a spot beam, which i can not recieve in central america. Can anyone tell me an area in the U.S. where local channels are not available, so I can go back to national? Also, they tell me I can switch my physical address and keep my billing address the same, if I make up a bogus address in one of these areas, will they try to verify it or correspond with me at that address in anyway??? Any help will be greatly appriciatted.

Yes, your service address needs to be verifiable.

You need a friend in the states that can deal with this for you.

Please do NOT ask me to do it.

You can use a white area addresss and get just the national nets east and west. or use a ny or LA address and get the nets from that city. You need a valid address for the phusical one that shows up in the post office data base, but can leave your billing address as is....

Its really not a problem.
