View Full Version : Any way to hookup a dish wrap antenna to a multiswitch?

Two-port Terk (TV-42?) around a DirecTV dish -- does anyone know how one can connect this to a multiswitch? We're trying to get the antenna to work on three TV's.

Normally, the cables are run straight from the round diplexer on the back of the antenna to two receivers. Power amplification is provided by the RG-6 cables from the receiver.

I know there must be some way to use this cheap wrap-around antennas for distribution to more than two TV's but just never tried it. And if I used a multiswitch, would power pass through? Do I diplex before the 3:4 multiswitch?

Thanks in advance.

The previous owner already had the dish and Terk on the roof. The customer does not want to buy another OTA. Hence, the question I posed.
