I recently upgraded to SuperDish from Dish500. I am now able to get 121 but signal strength on 119 and 110 are considerably less. Any advice? Thanks.

I would suspect you need to 'tweak' the elevation and skew on the superdish. You should be able to get 75-85 on 121, and low 100's on 110-119.

If the mast is plumb then you should NEVER move the skew from what it specifies on the signal strength screen or manual of what the skew should be. The 121 is a weaker satellite so the installer may have peaked the dish for 121 since it is weaker which may cause 110 and 119 to have a weaker signal.

He doesn't have a 105, but a 121. And if the skew isn't set right on the dish it WILL affect the signal. Just because the manual or setup screen says one thing doesn't mean that's what the dish says.

I have a 105 superdish which replaced a dish 500. My signals increased on 110&119 about 2% as compaired to the 500 after I peaked the dish for the 105 satellite.(this was after the installer left) I adjusted azimuth, elevation and skew. I found out that as long as your pole is vertical the skew setting by DishNetwork is pretty much right on. Although servus56 has a 121 superdish and didn't provide any numbers I think he should carefully try to peak his dish leaving the skew alone. I don't think his numbers on 110&119 should have dropped significantly if at all. I could be wrong, this is based on the 105 not the 121.

I tweaked my dish as you suggested. The elevation was off a tad and I am now back to the signal strength I had with my D500. 121 also increased a bit. Thank you for your advice.
