I am a BIG college sports fan...so with that being said....

I see that FOX Sports is currently pushing their three regional College Sports networks. My question is this. Are those promos being aimed at the cable markets. From what little I can can find about the programming on those from press releases, it sounds like some of the college sports produced by the regionals may show up on the FCN network. For instance, FOX Northwest or Washington or whatever the hell it is shows nearly all of the Gonzaga as well as the UW and WSU games this season. Those are not national telecasts. My understanding is that some of those would be available to the FCS West. That would be valuable commodity in parts of the west. There are many BIG West games that are available but only shown on one or two of the FOX nets on the west coast If you already have most or all of the FOX Sports Net Regional, the new channels probably won't add much.

Being a DISH Subscriber I miss not having FOX WEST 2, during the Football and Basketball season.

Wasn't ESPN putting together a College Sports Network?

How about the College Sports TV? I doesn't look like there is a lot of live action on there from an initial look at the listings, but there is some interesting other programming.

Finally, I am loving Comcast Sports West! There is a lot of great WAC, Big Sky and Mountain West action. I also enjoy watching the Billioti (Ducks) Show this morning.

All thoughts and comments welcome!

The Fox College Sports trio of networks (FCS Atlantic, FCS Central & FCS Pacific) are compilation channels which cherry-pick from the FSN networks across the nation, and provide content to digital cable systems -- it's a selling point for digital cable compared to satellite's sports network package.

If you've already got the D* or E* sports package, you're already getting all the same programming (plus some) that digital cable subscribers are getting.
