P2.08 fixes the future guide scrolling issue. (I assume this to mean the navigation problems in the guide.)

The audio dropout/beeps and sync problems are still very much alive on my 522 too, with frequent use of the skip button knocking it back on track. Sort of a high tech slap to the unit. No spontaneous reboots for me with 2.07 though. Looking forward to seeing what 2.08 brings.

At least for me, I'm getting just as much audio sync errors as before. It's getting old.

All 2.08 fixed was the problem earlier this week where the guide could nod be scrolled past midnight Tuesday. NOTHING else was changed from 2.07

I have a 522 receiver and it does have the A/V sync problem with 208 release.

Just like many other posts in this thread stated, L2.08 was not ment to fix A/V sync issues, only Guide issues.

I has to be pointed out that the a/v sync issue is not isolated and should be fixed.

I am sure they are working on it, judging from the number of complaints on the forums.

As I stated in another thread, I fear that the solution may involve a faster hard drive with bigger buffer.

Should this thread still be pinned since it's two releases outdated?
