I have had my HD10-250 for about a month connected via DVI input and it just went bad tonight. I hooked it up to my Sony 34 in HD-Ready TV with component cables and the pic is about the same. My question is: Is the picture quality that much better with DVI vs. Component connection and is it worth the hassle to try to get a new one since it works well with a component connection?
Any response would be appreciated...thanks.

What about the future? 34" CRT's are a lot more forgiving than 60" DLP's or Plasmas or Projection Systems. Isn't it possible that your DVI will become more important when you upgrade TV's?

I think you'll upgrade your receiver BEFORE you upgrade your television. just my opinion.

Can I extend DVI 25 feet? It will be a 15 foot cable and a 10 foot extender cable. The 921 is noisy, and I want to put it in a utility closet
