SES Global, the Luxembourg-based satellite giant that also runs SES Americom in the United States, said its board of directors voted to proceed with preparations for a possible international public equity offering combined with a listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
If the listing goes through, it be in addition to the Luxembourg and Frankfurt listings for SES.
Last month, SES unveiled plans for a satellite platform delivering TV and Internet to consumers in the United States, a proposal that's now before the Federal Communications Commission. The company's SES Americom business provides commercial satellite services in North and South America.
