Does anyone else have a problem with overscan on ESPN-HD? I’m not sure if it is the HD Tivo or my TV, but the bottom ticker is so far off the screen that I I can barely read the scores. Is this a D* problem, a Tivo problem, or is it a problem with my TV. I checked some of the other news channels with tickers and most have an overscan problem, but Fox Newx seems fine. This would suggest that it could be a problem with the individual channels.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

if you are seeing it on all of the stations witrh the ticker, it is a setting on your box or your tv, i have no issues with overscan on any of my 4 hdtvs in the house, all 4 are on different hdtv receivers also 1 projector, 2 crt 1 lcd

My HDTiVos have more overscan than the other HD-Receivers I've used over the last 3 years.

What do you mean by overscan?

In my case, overscan is when the bottom of the picture is off the viewable part of the screen. It is most noticable where there is a ticker at the bottom like on ESPN.

I think mine may be more the HD Tivo than the TV, since I did not notice it when I was with Dish. I recently switched and notice the problem right after.

I have another theory. I'm wondering if it could be a problem with the input (Component) or resolution (1080i). I will try to test different resolutions and maybe a different input tonight. I wonder if the Avia disk has an overscan test pattern?? I will check.
