I visited OpenTV's website and it had shown iShopTV where you could order somthing in an interactive menu.
Would YOU do this. It could be added on your Dish bill (for a small charge)...
What do you think Dish Interactive should expaned into?

Personally, when I had Dish, I wished they would just can the entire interactive project. I’d rather have the whole concept collapse then get expanded. If Dish would put the same amount of money, time, resources and motivation into their products and evolution of having a real DVR, that they spend on working with OpenTV they might still have me as a customer. Unfortunately, it looks like DirecTV will be getting interactive TV back again, but as long as it doesn’t get on my TiVos, I don’t really care.

Its just all a big yawn from me. I got a 522 just about 2 weeks ago and the whole Dish Home thing really bites. Okay, so its nice to look at your statement or pay using your remote, but what good is it really when you can do the same bloody thing with your PC. Personally, I would never add any programming using Dish Home because I am more at ease when a Rep does it for me over the phone. Its better to have a human do it than a computer these days.

....and how many people are actually gonna pay extra to play games on Dish? It just reminds me too much of cable television. One commercial that Insight (my ex cable provider now thanks to me being a Dish sub...for life) usually played alot (before that annoying spokeswoman 'Sam' (who looks like she has had one too many toothpaste commecials)) was a woman getting so excited playing Solitaire over Insight's Digital Cable. Oh cmon.....when was the last time you saw anybody get excited (like he or she won the Showcase Showdown on the Price is Right) over Solitaire at work or at home?

I watched Bingo TV Wednesday and it was hilarious in a way. How? I looked at the mannerisms of the woman who was reading the numbers and it clearly showed that she wanted to be somewhere else.
However, I have wondered whether or not Id be able to play. For one thing, I do not know if its legal in my state to play. I looked at the payoff of $30,000 and I thought to myself it would be nice to play if its legal.
If you watched it, its legal in your area.

If Bingo TV was not allowed to be played in your state you'd get the This Program has been blacked out in your area message when you try to access 104.

However, I have wondered whether or not Id be able to play.It is legal in Indiana. Are you under 18? That could be a problem.
Full rules are on their website.
