Not the ones you may think!

From today's Dish Channel Chart (http://ekb.dbstalk.com/dishlist.htm)

RUMOR ALERT from PR Newspaper El Vocero (http://www.vocero.com/noticia.asp?n=50312) (Nelson)
According to the article linked above, Two new TV stations (low Power from Aguadilla, PR) are going on the air:
WSJP LP channel 30 on Jan 3 as a WB and UPN affiliate
WPRU LP channel 20 on Jan 31 as a CBS affiliate.
The stations supposedly will be available on Dish and DirecTV though the article is very vague and I could have misread it: "Tanto WPRU como WSJP podrán ser vistos por personas que cuentan sólo con la programación local, clientes que tienen Adelphia, DirecTV o Dish Satellite."
Translation program (though flawed) available here http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr then enter this web site in the space provided http://www.vocero.com/noticia.asp?n=50312

See ya

Why was it (or still is it) that PR subscribers were not elligible for distant nets? From the list of stations in PR, most were independent and the "big 4" were underrepresented.

From http://ekb.dbstalk.com/19

San Juan/Ponce/Caguas/Mayagüez
ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and PBS available.
San Juan Locals or NYC Networks+PBSxd Only = $5.99
San Juan Locals and NYC Networks Only+PBSxd = $11.98
San Juan Locals + NYC Networks + PBSxd added to any AT or Dish Latino Package = $5
1.2 Meter Dish pointed at 110° required for PR Locals.
Reported that an 18" dish will work for locals only and not other programming at 110°
-------------------

Distant nets are available but you have to be able to get both 110 and 119 using fairly large dishes and a Dish 500 does not work reliably at all.

I'm pretty wonder if the local ABC is picked up by Dish that WABC will be dropped. I am still very skeptical about these stations being added anyway.

See ya
