Is there anyway to test the 921 remote to see if it is working. When I received my 921 the remote did not work called tech support tried everything including coax cable and Attenuator. Sent me a new remote that one didn't work either.. before I have them send me a new unit I want to check and see if I received two bad remotes in a row.Unit works fine with 721 remote but not with UHF.
Thanks in Advance Bruce
The only way I know (if this is your only UHF pro receiver) would be take your remote and try it at a friends/neighbor or dealer.

Also double check your system info screen and see what your remote address is. Make sure it and your remote are using the same value.

Ditto what tnsprin said. Press the system info button on the front panel of your receiver and check the address. Then change your remote to that address.
I had a similar problem when an installer changed the address on the receiver without telling me.

I had a similar problem with my 1st remote on the 921. The dealer I bought the 921 from gave me another remote and it to did not work. Fortunately I had a 510 remote that did control the 921 and with this info tech support was able to figure out it was a bad remote. Tech support sent me a replacement and that one did finally work.
Net: I'd try another UHF remote to see if it controls the 921. If it does it is likely a remote issue. If not then the UHF receiver on the 921 may be busted.

Thanks for all the advice I did try changing the address with the tech but no go. the only thing I haven't tried is moving it off the top shelf. It a little cramped up there were I used to have my 6000 I am not able to make the antenna vertical but I don't think this is the problem. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks Bruce
