networks in hd when no ota

My father lives in an area where there are no ota hd channels available. He is a longtime dish customer. Can he get any networks over the sat. If so, what does he have to do to get them. As it is he can only get the hd package without any networks.

The first thing is:
He will have to wait until such time as E* offers networks in HD. Then it will be determined by the rules the FCC sets up.

If he has a 61.5 (second) dish he might be able to qualify for CBS HD. I did and I like at least one network in HD. Wish we had more. :confused:
