Thanking u in advance for the gracious time and effort in responding to this thread.
Background:
I currently have a Dual LNBF (i.e. single lnb with dual output - supports up to 4 receivers) I was using 3 receivers but is currently only using 2. 2 cables comes into the living room from the lnbf connecting to a 3x4 multiswitch. A third cable also connects to the switch from the cable company. Connections then runs to the 3 rooms from this single multi-switch.
Problem:
I purchased a sharp triple-feed, multi-satellite LNB with built-in multi-switch and 4 outputs. My understanding is that I don't have to realign the dish but to select "oval 3" after installation from the receiver. Problem is, can I continue to use this multiswitch in the living room or do I have to get the cables go directly from the lnb to the receivers, if so, how would I accommodate my cable? This connection is so neat, one remote in each room to do everything.
