I picked up a like new JVC D-VHS on eBay last week to finally have some way of archiving some HD. Since most of what I want to archive is on PBS this seemed like a perfect rather inexpensive option. This thing works great. PQ is outstanding and it works seemlessly with MyHD tuner card in my HTPC.
Here is my dilema. It seems like I can only record real time from the MyHD tuner card to the D-VHS. I can't see any way to dump anything I currently have stored on my hard drive to the D-VHS. Anyone else out there doing this? Can it be done or not?
