Today I had a three room install 322, 311, 311, and Superdish.

The customer also had cable and wanted it diplexed.

The problem was with the 322, I had never seen one before so I unboxed it and looked at the connectors on the back. Two tunners, output for tv1 output for tv2, one input for offair/cable and two remotes with the number one on them. When I pluged it in the tv1 light came on normal just like a 311. The light for tv2 did not appear to come on.

I assume after reading the book he was shorted the remote for tunner two?

Should the diplexed cable be availlable to both sets from that one input?

Should both of those green lights look the same when their on?

For a 322 to work correctly you must connect two lines from the satellite dish. What you installed was a four tuner system for four TVs. Some one made an equipment mistake someplace if that was a three TV system. The remotes have a removable green panel at the bottom that turns over to a blue surface with the number 2 on it this operates the UHF tuner 2.

I ran two lines from the 322 to the switch.

The check switch recognized both tunners locked on all three sats. Couldn't get any video output for set2. I swapped the lines around just for s'n'g they where all good. Couldn't get one of the remotes to do anything. Waiting on the dealer.

Really curious about the Off Air/Cable Input is that for both sets?

Thanks.

It dosn't matter now though, the 322 was bad. Dealer promised to ship a new one overnite to the customer, had me out there on the 23rd when it was suposed to be there. Finnaly showed up on the 28th, customer had called on the 27th and told them to pick their equipment up and refund his money. Dish lost a customer. He wants a complete de-install, waiting on dealer to do the right thing.
