510 receiver, 4 months old. Works like new. All original packaging, remote, manual and some A/V cables. Asking for $160 shipped. There is no balance, it is still active on my account, but upon sale I will confirm with dish it is "released" (as they call it) from my account and activatable (is that a word?) for buyer.

How about $140 shipped? It is completely off my account.

Ok, someone make me an offer otherwise I just box this up and it sits in my basement.

...I've just started leasing a 510 from DISH through a dealer, for $50 down, $5/month lease fee, and $5/month DVR fee. Then I paid in advance for the AT180 package for all of 2005, to help alleviate the effects of the price hike and extra fees somewhat.

We were "forced" to do this, because our two-year-old son very cleverly lost the blue smart card for the 2700, and we needed to get our TV programming back ASAP!

I'd be tempted to run more coax and activate a second 510, but the fees might start to get out of hand!

Sold.

Btw, you could have waited for your new yellow card to arrive for the 2700:

Maybe, but at that time, I didn't have any idea when the yellow card might arrive, we needed our TV programming right away :D , and it was as good an excuse as any to get DVR and a fast, 7-day guide!
