I have a Direct TV dish/LNB. I have a Bell Receiver. Are these compatible or do I have to change the LNB?

Direct TV 18" disk
LNB/Antenna 950-1450MHz (tried single and dual)
Bell receiver Model 1000
Dish Satellite Card

I have tried but get no signal and Installation | Point Dish | Check Switch does not recognize the LNB nor which satellite/transponder.

Any advice?
