I recently got the HD upgrade from Directv and if course, you get whatever receiver they give you, and I got the DTC210 from RCA. It seems fine, but then, I can't compare it to anything. My question is how big a difference can there be in receivers? What is considered the "best" and why.We have a Samsung 50" DLP tv, and I'm making sure I've got the right "everything". I'm new to this HD thing. I'm replacing all my RG6, and eliminating any "breaks" in the cable, getting the one run out of the same wall cavity as a 220 ac line.....things like that. I'm getting a "flicker" that could be signal related, but won't know for sure until our problem filled tv gets replaced by samsung soon! Anyway, any feedback regaerding hd receivers appreciated.
