New 921 owner

Hello all. I have been lurking around here for a while now and finally decided to take the plunge and pick up a 921. I have been a 6000 user for about a year and a half. I must say, I am quite pleased with the 921. I have it feeding my Pioneer 503CMX through an Onkyo receiver. I should probably knock on some wood before I say this, but I have not had any of the bugs hit me yet (except for the red dot.) The guide is quick, PQ seems to be better than the 6000, the ability to record OTA is awesome and although I don’t use it, the PIP is a nice feature for the rest of the family.

Well, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. If I can be of any assistance as a newbie, please let me know.

Welcome! 921 ownership is all about expectations management. Your own. And your SO's. Given that it's satisfying a relatively small niche market, I agree with you that it's a pretty solid piece of gear. It's still going to be a while before the rest of the kinks worked out, but at least they are making progress!!
