Currently I have analog cable and Dish Network (SD receiver). The analog and sat signals are diplexed coming into the house on a single cable and split back to analog and sat signals at the TV. I plan to get rid of 811 and stopping dish's regular service and moving on to digital cable.

I would like to move to digital cable and therefore like to diplex (or some other method) the Sat signal (for some international channels) with digital cable. Furthermore, I would like to have an option, inside the house, to be able to hook up a QAM DT decoder for watching unscrambled DT channel from my cable.

Is all this possible or will I have to remove all diplexers and install new cable from the dish to my TV?

BTW, does anybody know what frequencies of various signals (VHF, HDTV UHF, Analog Cable, OTA, digital cable) that one could possible get.

Thanks.

Any OTA or cable is under 850Mhz and any Sat system is over 950Mhz.

Is Digital Cable also under 950MHz? In other words, could I diplex digital cable and Sat signals?
