Commitment w/ adding second recv

Someone posted that when you add another recv to your acct, you're commited for 12 months or get a $150.00 charge. Is this true?? If so when did this begin?

This began on May 1st. Looks like they are trying to beat hackers at their own game.

Although the thing that stinks that someone is locked into a service for an entire year.

Cable dosent even do that.

I talked them out of it, since I bought my receiver at a Flea Market and they were charging me for a new Smart Card, anyway.
