Greetings, appreciate all the feedback I have gotten in this forum.
I installed the 811 last night, seems to be working fine.
I have two questions and a comment:

1) I installed it to the Sony HDTV through component video. I am expecting the DVI-HDMI cable soon. Will I be able to output the 811 through both, and switch in the HTDV the input according to preference. It seems to me the 811 guide says you can not output through both: component and DVI, or I may be mistaken.
2) Whenever you watch the HD channels, the screen says HD normal, SD normal, but it seems that the SD rectangle is highlighted. Is this the usual way it will show on the screen ?. The 811 is set to 1080i.
3) I got the HD package and CBS HD. Some channels look much better than others, Discovery HD, HBO HD and the demo channel having the best ( excellent) picture and definition, in my opinion.

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks,
Chris1. That's what the guide says, but it's wrong. You can output to both at the same time.
2. There are three buttons on the remote that control zoom, the * key, and the page keys. The page up key controls zoom for HD, and it puts the box around HD. The page down key puts the box around SD, but it does nothing for me. Maybe it only controls zoom for the SD outputs (s-video, etc.).
3. Most people like the HD-Net channels better, because they are on a transponder with only two channels, where the others are three to a transponder. But they're all pretty good.

2. Yes that is correct. The SD/HD boxes in the banner are refering to the OUTPUTS not the channel type.
