XBOX Drops Price

Yesterday Sony announced that it was dropping its price on its Playstation II from $299 to $199.

Today CNET's News.COM is reporting that Microsoft will not be outdone, and is dropping the price of the XBOX from $299 to $199!

I own both systems and both are remarkable.

This is a good thing for gamers!

GameCube price was cut today to $149.

Now ALL of us early ADOPTERS can be disgusted! :D

Very tempting to pick up an X-Box. Unfortunately I'm saving for a DVD Burner.

Oh well, I got my GameCube as a Christmas present, so it wasn't my money. Oh, and GAMECUBE RULEZ!!!!!! :):):) Seriously, all the systems have advantages and disadvatages, but I like my GameCube far better than the other systems

Just what I was waiting for...

The day MS announced the price drop on the XBox, I went out and bought one that day.

And, thanks to Scott & DBSTalk.com for breaking the news, at least to me. That day, this was the first website I clicked on during my lunch break.

Been playing NFL Fever 2002 ever since...it kept me up 'til 2am this morning, but it was worth it.

It's all personal opinion, but I've extensively played the PS2, the GameCube, DreamCast, and I owned a PSOne...and the XBox leaves them all behind. :righton:
