On the dealer forum we have figured the sets are made by Mitsui in China and may be sold in the US under the By Design brand. The Mitsui website looks like you buy at your own risk. At least the RCA CRAP had a know manufacturer behind it this is definitely "BUYER BEWARE". I think the website was something like Mitsui Electronics (Shanghi) you can search for it.
