View Full Version : 105 Trans 5 Problems?

At 1:14 PM Central I was watching my locals on 105* W. Transponder 5 and I've lost all signal. I was getting a signal on Transponder 6... and 110/119 are at full power. Anybody else having problems with 105?

1:21 PM - Transp. 5 restored. Perfect clear day outside... no loose connections.

How's the weather at the uplink center? Sometimes a strong cell can knock out only a transponder or two from the uplink center. However this usually only lasts a minute or two.

I didn't think of this until after I went to work....

Sun Spots.... I noticed the basketball game I was watching from Manhattan, Kansas (just down the road from me on ESPN Plus) had a temporary loss of signal (on the other channel) and when I got to work at the same time they said they lost the radio play-by-play feed off the satellite at the same time. Jus that time of year again.
