Dish 500????

Hey whats going on guys, I really need some help with my dish. I got a 500 dish and I got the echo 110 signal but I am trying to get 119 but have no idea where to point the dish at???? My strength is pretty good for 119 but the quality is really bad. any advice will be helpfull, Thanks.

Or call 1 - 800 - 333 - 3474 ask for the azimuth ( found thru compass points ), Elevation (up and down ) and the Skew (tilting of the dish). Elevation is found right below the dish. Look where the dish should be pointed, There should be a RED Needle there. You can have +/- 1. SKEW is found on the back center of the dish. AZIMUTH Is usually the hard one to tune to and is the majority of the problem.

Unh. Both you guys forgot that the receiver itself will give you the numbers in the Point Dish screen.

However, that doesn't seem to be what ploak47 is asking. What do you mean by "quality"?

If your signal numbers for transponders 11 & 12 on both 110 & 119 are above 80, it's NOT the aiming (although a "good" aim should get you up towards 100 on each).

Quality is used on a FTA receiver.
