Last week NCIS on CBS HD East didn't record. The timer fired, the red light stayed on the entire hour, but only a few minutes of the show was recorded.
Set the 921 today to record NCIS on CBS HD East. The 921 was powered down. I saw the red light come on and it stayed on for the hour. I then turned on the 921 to watch the show and discovered that it only recorded 29 seconds of the show, even though the red recording light stayed on the entire hour. At the end of the 29 second recording, I saw "acquiring signal". So it looks like the 921 lost the signal and aborted the recording even though it still thought it was recording. If the 921 is smart enough to think it's recording and it leaves the red light on during the entire timer event, it should be smart enough to continue recording after the signal is reacquired.
