View Full Version : Using Club Dish
Inorder to for me to get credit for someone ordering Dish- must they only call Dish Network directly or can they use any retailer or 800 number?

They can call E* directly @ 1 800 333 3474, they can call E* @ the Club Dish number listed on the back of the Club Dish card (1 888 920 4438). Or if they want to commit for a year they can go through an authorized retailer. I'd like to think our retail customers are happier with their customer support than customers that go directly through E*. But that's me :)
So they would just tell the local retailer that they are ordering through my Club Dish then? Or does E* want them to call them directly for some reason?

Call the retailer set up the install, there is a number on the Club Dish card it starts out CD then there is another letter usually O or T an example of a club dish card number would be CDT02023451, give the Club Dish number to the retailer. This card number allows the new customer to waive their activation fee and still get a $49.99 credit on their first bill. It allows the referrer to save $5 per month from their bill. E* would rather you call them I guess, they would avoid paying commissions to the retailer. For saving your $5/mth or for your friend getting set up it doesn't matter whether they call E* or an E* retailer.

E* ALWAYS would rather you go through them. They do NOT like retailers.
Retailers don't like "Club Dish" because they lose the $50 activation fee.
