I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but can anyone recommend a multidirectional antenna to use with the DVR-921?

Check out antennaweb.org for starters. Folks in my neck of the woods have a lot of good things to say about Channel Master (4221, 4228, etc.), Good luck!! And while you're at it, just remember that with HDTV the journey is half the fun!!!

I have a 4229 in my attic. It was very easy to install and wire in the attic. Even with signal loss due to the rooof, it works flawlessly. But it is highly directional. About 10 deg for optimal reception. Antennaweb should help you decide if you really need a multi-directional antenna.
Good luck,
Jeff

I am about 25-60 miles out from the towers that I can receive signal from with an RCA ANT200M indoor antenna. Works great especially for the price. There are some hills between me and the towers.

Very good site, don't know if you can read their forums without logging in or not. They will have your answers for your antenna problems!

Great suggestion. The thread for Seattle provided me with a lot of good suggestions. In our case, one of the best local installers is a daily visitor and he has provided a lot of helpful suggestions.
Good luck and happy hunting!!
