Lifetime Real Women Coming in June

Hello everybody. I recently emailed DirecTV to request some channels that aren't available, including some HD. The ONLY channels they addressed directly were Trio and Lifetime Real Women.

They said that they will NOT be adding Trio back to the line-up, but they are still looking for an appropriate replacement in the line-up.

As for Lifetime Real Women, they said that Lifetime Real Women will become available in early June in the Total Choice Plus and Total Choice Premier programming packages. I have not seen any press releases yet, and the lady I talked to was Rhonda.

yeah they have been showing adds for that channel on the other 2 lifetimes. Sence Trio was Canadian base? or was that before NBC Universal bought them?? or am I wrong
anyway it would be nice to see some channels from Canada on there like CTV and others that way people here in the USA won't have to get bellexpress :D

I will watch LRW for the Unsolved Mysteries that show, but not much else. I'm predicting that it will be on channel 250.

Smart thing to do: Assign Lifetime Real Women to ch. 254, and relocate that number's current occupant, AMC, to ch. 259 so it can be right next to spinoff Women's Entertainment (ch. 260).

I hope that this lifetime for woman has movies of the lighter side at 9am to 9pm and those dark movies like stallking , paing , killing on at night . 1 I saw was at 4 am unfortunelly . the kid had raped a girl in school he got off be cause he was the star quarter back . It ended . with him at trial . what happen . did he get any prison time ? did he have to redister as a sex offender ?

The channel addition probably was included in retransmission with Lifetime and Hearst Argyle network affiliates. Hearst Argyle has more owned network affiliates than ABC/Disney.

Probably not, according to Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, and Lifetime Real Women, all men are cheating, lying, raging, alcoholic, wife beating, abusive, rapist, self centered, POSs that like to knock up 14 year old girls while their wifes/girl friends are at work earing a living while the guy deosn't have a job. If it wasn't for Lifetime and LMN my mom wouldn't watch much TV at all. Every time I go into the kitchen to get something or out to my truck, I pass by the living room TV showing this putrid trash and roll my eyes.

But you have to keep it in perspective: For a longtime, all women wore white (virgins) or black (whores). The latter was later represented in color, such as red, once we got past the all-black-and-white format.

I suspect D* realized 50% of the worlds population is female and that not adding a channel or two now or then for them is not a wise business decision. D* has added quite a few channels recently for the male population and refusing to add something for the ladies could lead to a revolt and D* losing customers or a decline in premium subscriptions.

There was something about it on the recent flyer in my bill. It will be added on 6/1 on channel 261 for Total Choice Plus.
