510 and Name Based Recording?

I seem to remember back in January someone named Charlie said that the 510 would get NBR by the end of Feb. Now I can understand missing a date but it has been months. Does anyone know if they are working on NBR for the 510, and if they are, when will the download be ready????

I believe that it was during the tech forum in February that it was said that NBR would be coming for the 5xx receivers this fall.

What logos are you talking about?

The station logo at the bottom right corner of the screen of most, if not all of the stations. ABCfamily, Starz, Spike, NBC, ....etc. I swear I was watching Spike tv the other night, and some guy started crawling over the side of the screen, then walked across it in the middle of another show. I think it was advertising some comedy show on later. I hate it. I know what channel I am watching. You don't have to advertise to me, so I don't understand the constant logo. It may be small but it is like it is stealing part of my viewing screen. I even watch widescreen shows as much as possible to make sure I am seeing all the director wanted me to see. Now that ad with the guy crawling all over the right side of my screen to tell me about some show on later, really makes me mad.

Yes, we have had many discussions about bugs and burn-in. When NGC started, some of us went after them, complaining about their bright yellow rectangle logo. They responded by making it translucent and giving it a little movement.

I noticed the animated crap while watching Braves games last year.
