Vivendi Keeps Polish Operations

This week, Vivendi Universal said it won't sell its interest in Polish digital TV service Nowa Cyfra, denying a report in a Polish newspaper that suggested the stake was on the block. Canal Plus, Vivendi's pay-TV company in Europe, has invested 150 million euros in Cyfra, which merged last year with the Polish TV operations controlled by United Pan-Europe Communications.

Perhaps Dish could work out an agreement with this channel to make Polish customers even happier since I've heard that most customers don't consider TVN 24 a good replacement for the popular TV Polonia. Just an idea.
